Catch Night Productions is a multimedia independent production company. We seek to explore documentary and fiction through photography, film, and television projects.
DANIEL GEORGE MCDONALD
Daniel George McDonald is an Emmy-award winning film director, producer, and editor, and a graduate of Columbia University’s School of the Arts. His work as director and editor on the Netflix series “Last Chance U” won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Serialized Sports Documentary, as well as an International Documentary Association IDA award for Best Episodic Series. His work on the Netflix series “Cheer” won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Picture Editing, as well as an American Cinema Editors ACE Award for Best Edited Non-Scripted Series. With Thea Thompson, Daniel is a co-founder of Catch Night Productions.
THEA THOMPSON
Thea Thompson is a photographer, filmmaker and visual artist, and a graduate of Columbia University’s School of the Arts. Her work has been featured in shows at the Leroy Neiman Gallery, and the Aperture Foundation Gallery in New York City. With Daniel George McDonald, Thea is a co-founder of Catch Night Productions.
